Pool Pump Saver Trial

As a part of Blacktown Solar City, Integral Energy is running four voluntary 24-month Energy Saver Trials in Blacktown, starting from October 2007. Taking part is a great way to do your bit to help secure Australia’s energy future. You can choose to participate in one or more of the trials. You are also free to opt out of a trial at any time should you wish to do so.

You’ll receive energy bonuses of up to $100
By taking part in these important trials you'll have a great opportunity to save money off your energy bills. In addition to these potential savings, an immediate $25 bonus will also be credited to your next Integral Energy electricity bill to thank you for participating. Better still, you’ll receive a further $75 at the trial’s completion.

Trial 2 – Pool Pump Saver
A typical pool pump runs for 8-12 hours a day. We're currently seeking volunteers who will allow us to automatically cycle their pool pumps. This involves turning off your pool pump between 1pm and 8pm during peak energy periods for up to 12 days per year. Not only should your pool stay clean, you can also save on electricity costs and the environment in the process. Your pool pump must be less than 7 years old to take part.
