1. Entry is automatic to those who have either accepted a Blacktown Solar City quote for or purchased any one of the Blacktown Solar City Solar Home Offers; Blacktown Solar City Ceiling Insulation Offer or purchased a Blacktown Solar City Home Energy audit (excluding the Commercial Offers, the Energy Efficiency Packs, Free Home Energy Audits, or Energy Saver Trials).

2. Information on prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. First prize a Flight Centre gift voucher worth $20,000. Valid for 12 months from date of draw. Redeemable only at: Flight Centre Blacktown Shop 1046, Westpoint Shopping Centre Blacktown NSW 2148. Second prize a Coles voucher worth $5,000. Valid for 24 months from date of draw.

3. Entry is open to all Australian residents who fulfil the entry requirements. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter - BP Solar Pty Ltd - members of the Blacktown Solar City Consortium (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, Integral Energy Australia Pty Ltd, Blacktown City Council, Big Switch Projects Pty Ltd and Landcom) and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
4. The competition commences on 1 May 2009 and ends at 5pm EST on 31 July 2009. The draw will be held at 1pm on 3 August 2009 at Blacktown City Council 62, Flushcome Rd Blacktown NSW.
5. The first valid entry drawn will win a Flight Centre Voucher worth $20,000 to be used at Flight Centre Blacktown. The second valid entry drawn will win a Coles Gift Voucher
worth $5,000 to be used at any Coles supermarket in Australia. The third valid entry drawn will win a BP fuel voucher worth $1000 for use at any BP service station in Australia.
6. The first prize winner is responsible for ensuring that they have all appropriate travel documentation. Other than as specified above, this prize does not include any transfer costs, spending money, insurance, meals or use of any facilities requiring the payment of any fee. Any expenses incurred by the winner in relation to goods or services not included with the prize will be payable by the winner on the terms and conditions of the provider of the goods or services.
7. The promoter’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Winners will be contacted within 2 days of the draw, with the winners names published in the Sydney Morning Herald on 8 August 2009.
9. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
10. Prizes will be delivered to the winners within 6 weeks of the draw.
11. The promoter collects entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to members of the Blacktown Solar City consortium, their contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant legislation. The promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants can request access to information the promoter holds about them or obtain a copy of the promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the promoter on 1800 619 322.
12. The promoter is BP Solar Pty Ltd ABN 52 094 827 531 of 2 Australia Ave Sydney Olympic Park, NSW.
13. In the event of any prize not being claimed within three months of the draw the winner’s entry will be deemed not to fulfil the entry requirements and the promoter will conduct such further draws on 20 November 2009 at the same location as the original draw on the same terms as the main draw as are necessary to distribute that prize subject to any written directions given by any relevant authority.
14. The promoter does not accept any responsibility for any tax implications that may arise. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of the competition results in supplies being made for non-monetary consideration (for the purpose of GST), entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arms length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
15. The promoter, members of the Blacktown Solar City consortium, their associated agencies and companies shall not be liable in any way (including without limitation, in negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) in connection with this competition or taking any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability will be limited to the minimum allowable by law).
